Excellent! Do they imply that the Beatles were dumb?

Well... I don't think so but, on the other hand they also seem to imply that Bob Dylan was a usurper. So I guess it would be a fair parody if it was the case.
But I think it's just meant to show how much of an influence Bob Dylan had on The Beatles for the next half of their career. So one should be expecting to see Bob Dylan as having some kind of "ascendancy" on them and being portrayed as the smartest one.

Right now I'm watching "Discworld: Colour Of Magic", an adaptation of the famous Discworld novels, aired on the BBC in the end of 2008, I think. The movie was cut in 20 videos and uploaded on Youtube, so I don't think I'll have the time to watch it fully tonight
I just love english humour and accent, they feel like velvet to my ears!

First rule of being a robber: don't forget to steal
A would-be robber in Toronto, Canada had prepared his disguise well, sporting a cape, a Scream mask and surgical gloves.
Unfortunately his hours of costume decisions distracted him from the main objective, namely stealing. After demanding the bank's cash, the cashiers began bagging money, at which point the world's worst robber promptly fled the scene with nothing.

I'm just posting this message written by a certain "Poguesfan", that I found on a forum called JoBlo.com ... It made me feel happy :
Citation :
In a way I'm slightly disappointed that Arcade Fire were even nominated for a fucking Grammy, lumped into the same category as Eminem and Jay-Z, among many of the other manufactured, suckers of the music corporation's cocks. The Grammy's are a breeding ground for all that is rotten with the music industry today, and I'm not surprised that over half of the country doesn't even know who the fuck Arcade Fire is, why would they, have you seen what most of these pathetic "mall creatures" listen to today, it just makes me shake my head in embarassment.
While I approve that a talented band, that actually writes their own songs and plays their own music (man that is a rarity now a days) winning album of the year is some what of an accolade, but too have to occpuy the same room with the likes of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and all the other untalented, manufactured, pop culture idiots that most of our impressionable youth listen too, I probably would have like to swallow the barrel of a twelve-gauge shot gun. Is there hope for the music industry, now that a truly good band won the Grammy's most coveted award, sadly no, because most of the fucking world have never heard of Arcade Fire, and wouldn't know decent music if it crawled up their legs and bit them on their ass. Truly a sad day folks
Concerning Eminem, I still listen to some of his songs (3 or 4) but stopped following what he did after 2003. Nervertheless I agree a 100% with what this comment and find it quite... Relieving. Relieving in the sense that... There are some people that are as pissed off as I am about the pop scene today.

Yeah. Honestly I don't know much about Arcade Fire, but I got the message between the lines. When I think about all the trash being produced every year, I'm sad about all the true, good music let down in the shadows...The same goes for french music of course; whenever that Yannick Noah, Jennifer or other Star Academy-like are designed as "French's favourite singer", it makes me cringe But I'm not giving news to anyone, I believe
Just an anecdote : last year, an english researcher joined our team, with a few collegues and students, we were talking about some good french music he could listen to know more about it, I naturally evoked Brassens, Ferré, Le Forestier, etc...one dumb youger student burst out of laughter and said "Oh Caro, come on it's sooooo old stuff! Why doesn't he listen to David Guetta instead?" I suddenly wanted to hang myself...or that girl?

Lol. I don't know how I would have reacted but I think a good laugh would have been the most logical response, since it is kind of funny to put David Guetta in the same category as Brassens, Ferré and Le Forestier. Actually, you should have taken it as a compliment... If he values mediocrity and despises true talent, if he despises what you listen to it's rather a good sign.

I wanted to put this video on "le coin des gratteux" but I was kind of dissapointed when I heard that he wasn't going to show us how to make the solo, and when I heard his funny accent I thought... Why not put it in this topic and ask for people to guess where his accent comes from ? I first thought he was a just another londoner with a trendy pseudo-punk haircut but when I heard his pronounciation of the word "archive" (at 1:36), I thought "Northern Ireland accent !". But I'm really not sure, I've never heard that accent before.
What do you think ?

4:37... This might be it. English south-west accent... That could be the place where this guitar player comes from.

I love it when she says "holy crap !" with the posh accent.

Absolutely brilliant ! South Park is genius. I like the part when the doctor puts on Bob Dylan, even though I love Bob Dylan I just couldn't help laughing.
